running Notes
WATASHI WA KAKU-SHIBA des! Here's a refuge for me, away from all the hustle & bustle of life where i note down the happenings in my life, just like individual musical notes which make up the entire piece. A big fan of Final Fantasy music and enjoy playing on the piano.

Wind Crest (Piano Collection)
another of my favourite pieces but have been practising the previous one.
Time flies like the swiftness of an arrow and hits July when June was just nearby after May. Then, it looks like everything's sealed at the moment; with the contract signed and pending work commencement.
I realised i've been sleeping later than before; but night time is pretty peaceful for self-reflections and reading as well. Ah, the luxury of time now when it was a 'rarity' before. Seconds aplenty. Music brings about inner peace to me and the freedom of expression it provided beyond the description of words. Amazing.
Stuffs which i've been working on; nothing too serious, seriously; albeit a little wasteful at times returning from slumberland later than usual but well it's the midst of the 'buffer period'. Recently helped out at an event to sell a school publication where proceeds will go to charitable organisations; chipping in music mini-performance for parents' friends' anniversary; practising melodies on the keys from time to time as i walked past my piano; more like impromptu playing & freestyle. Books, stories as usual. Keeping up with pals all around; movies almost done for the season at the moment; exercising, sports; housework, house admin (oh yeah, all the misc issues) and yes, rest.
Quite literally, rest anytime. For now that is.
*yawns*.
Right, the eyes' "magnetic effect" imminent.
Adios.

FF-X2 Epilogue Reunion (Orchestra)
This is such a beautiful piece on the piano itself and have been mesmerised by the melody and arrangement since. Can FF music get any better? ahha. Piano solo for this piece would sound amazing on a grand piano itself. But i'm pretty satisfied with my piano as well =p. Time to come i would get a baby grand. Not yet, not yet but sometime, somehow =p.
Well, on a side note, we've graduated, technically; albeit in the twisted time of the economy. Nonetheless i always believe there's always a silver lining amongst the clouds and everyone would be eventually land somewhere by virtue of time.
In the meantime, it's the buffer time now before starting work; as i find time to rekindle the friendships once more, outside school this time and for the time to come. Using time to do the things which would normally be challenging during schoolterm has suddenly become aplenty; even spilling. But i do enjoy the sudden serenity from the hectic schoolterm; very much the final one though. Perhaps it is the 'law of contridictary' or simply yin-yang principle. Once you get too much of something, even if it would be something you fancy, your interests would soon outgrown itself as well. Hence balance is something i always try to fulfill in one way or another.
Managed to grab a couple of chinese books though from one of the prominent Chinese bookshops around here but closure is very much imminent; much to dismay, in particular those of the older, chinese-educated generation.
Origins of Chinese characters has always fascinated me through 'oracle bone inscriptions' or 甲骨文 in short. I wonder why wasn't the language being taught that way which might intrigue young people to learn more. There're so many things which fascinates me, from arts to science that even a lifetime of studying, would get you only that limited amount of knowledge, relative to the universe. Anyway, i always tend to sidetrack too much; bought couple of books of related interests at a greatly discounted price alongside with my family as well.
Adopting an open and hence receptive would be imperative for one to be able to see the big picture, despite one's field of study. For like i've mentioned previously that having more pieces of the jigsaw puzzle would enable you to view a more holistic picture in mind rather than stuck in your own line of sight, if you do. The brain is only that big but the mind can do so much more marvels. World-renowned Stephen Hawkings would be a concrete example, despite his physical lackings.
Adopting a habitual reading is what i've also been doing all the while; to enrich my mind with long-lasting bits rather than bits of tangible materials. I believe these will enable and empower me to go a longer distance than my previous self; for i always compare with and only with myself =p.
Hopfully, in the time to come when my work commences, my plans would unveil themseleves slowly and surely.
Looks like it's dead into the night again and i've just missed my reading slot again. Eyes shutting and the calling's back on the pillow once more.
Nite folks.

Going out.
Did my final exam paper yesterday which sparked the imminent start of another new phase in life. It only seemed like yesterday when we were first enrolled as freshman, who were very lost most of the times searching for the venues in particular. Nonetheless, as the years went by, sub-cultures began to form and there we have our own usual clique who would gossip about anything under the sun from the east to the west. Some friendships come and go, or 'project-based-friends' as i call it while others forged stronger. Assignments was no doubt, always overloaded as we struggled to meet the deadlines. For me, my horizons was also broaden when i went on the exchange trip and returned with yet a stronger mindset and broadened networks. University education is not merely knowledge, but also informal skills you develop and the diversified insights you gained from others; depending on how you viewed it and it varies personally. More importantly, the friendships forged proved to be invaluable and pricless. The antics and comical comments which surfaced timely during the discussions and informal gatherings in school will continue to remain etched in my mind till time immemorial.
Time to come, a student no longer is.
Thus, leaving school is imminent for he shall shift the memories into the history book and begin a new page of life.
The safety nets will be released as we sail outwards in our own ways, as far as the sky and ocean brings us to.
